Glasgow has been crowned the vinyl-collecting capital of the UK.
In a new study carried out by The Royal Mint, it was found that 32 per cent of vinyl collectors in the UK live in the city.
Glasgow was followed by the North East of England in second place, where The Royal Mint found that 25 per cent of the UK's vinyl collectors reside.

Sales of vinyl records have soared in recent years, bringing in approximately £135.6 million in the UK alone in 2021. It was revealed earlier this year that vinyl sales are set to overtake CD sales in 2022.
The biggest-selling vinyl record in the UK in 2021 was ABBA's comeback album Voyage, followed closely by Adele's 30, and Rumours by Fleetwood Mac.
Among the popular vinyl shops in Glasgow are Monorail Music, Strip Joint Records, Rubadub, and Love Music.
The Royal Mint study also found that Glasgow is the UK capital of rare books too, with 24 per cent of collectors residing in the Scottish city.
