Council bosses in Glasgow “feel sick” about their plans to fire and rehire 23,000 workers across the city, a spokesperson for the authority has said.
Colin Edgar said Glasgow City Council was in a “hellish situation” as he blamed Unison for the decision to force workers onto new contracts.
