Glasgow community groups offered 'ownership' of Mount Florida bowling club by developers

A south side community group is being offered the chance to take outright ownership of a community space at the former Mount Florida Bowling Club.

The south side club was forced to close in 2019 due to falling memberships.

The Mount Florida Community Trust has been campaigning to retain the green space in its current form and are exploring options to acquire the site through the Community Right to Buy and the Scottish Land Fund.
