'Emergency repairs' to the Clyde Tunnel have sparked delays for Glasgow drivers this afternoon.
Glasgow City Council's traffic management department TRAFFCOM issued an emergency bulletin confirming that the A739 has been reduced to one lane southbound until further notice.
They have noted that delays should be expected as a result.

Meanwhile both Traffic Scotland and traffic information site INRIX report that the Clyde Tunnel has been reduced to one lane 'for emergency roadworks'.
Both report that traffic is slow approaching the tunnel at present.
Police Scotland have confirmed to Glasgow Live that the delays are due to works being carried out.
UPDATE: The Road is now fully open.
