A Glasgow City Council worker was arrested by police in broad daylight after it is claimed he was confronted by paedophile hunters in an alleged sting.
The 58-year-old was confronted while on shift in the city wearing his bright yellow and green council uniform.
The incident unfolded on Saturday afternoon when he was approached by member of Facebook group Protecting Kids Scotland around noon, the Daily Record reports.

It was livestreamed on the social media page, and showed the man, who can't be named for legal reasons, being searched by police officers who took him away in a van.
Police Scotland confirmed today the middle-aged man is due to appear in court.
A spokesperson said: "Around 12pm Saturday, June 3, a 58-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with alleged indecent communications.
"He is due to appear before Ayr Sheriff Court on Monday, June 5, 2023. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
The Record has contacted Glasgow City Council for comment.
