Emergency services have rushed to the scene of an incident near in Glasgow's city centre this morning (May 31).
Police are currently on the scene at the Alexander Thomson Hotel on Argyle Street with a cordon put into place around the area and a van parked outside the building.
One eyewitness told Glasgow Live that the premises next to the hotel had been taped off, with the building's shutters remaining down.

The extent of any possible injuries is not currently known at this time.
Access to the road has not been affected by the incident.
