Glasgow City boss Gleeson steps down from role after 'career break review'

Glasgow City boss Eileen Gleeson has had to step down from her role as head coach, the club confirmed.

The former Ireland women's national team assistant had joined the club in November after "enabling a career break" from her employer in Dublin.

However, Glasgow City announced Gleeson would leave the club after a review on "operational business needs" decided she needed to return to her previous role.
