A warning has been issued over firework safety after several children were admitted to hospital needing specialist treatment after using pyrotechnics.
The Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow has treated a number of firework related injuries over the last few days which resulted in several children being admitted to the hospital requiring specialist treatment, including surgery.
Senior consultants at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde are now appealing to members of the public to understand the risks involved when using fireworks.
