A Glasgow chef has been named as one of the UK's top food influencers.
Julie Lin has been shortlisted for The Golden Chopstick award after impressing the panel of judges. The prestigious industry award ceremony was co-founded by Gok Wan to 'celebrate the enormous contribution of East and South East Asian cuisine to the UK catering industry and champion those who work within it.'
Julie has long been an influential figure on Glasgow's foodie scene since launching Julie's Kopitiam in 2017 before expanding her empire with Gaga in Partick at the end of 2021.

The chef will now go head to head with Nigel Ng (who has an impressive 1.9 million followers) and KS T at a ceremony in London next month.
Taking to social media, Julie said she was 'beyond words' with the nominated.
She wrote: "Cannot believe it, nominated alongside (UNCLE ROGER) @mrnigelng and the dream food account @ks_ate_here for The Golden Chopstick awards food influencer of the year. Thank you to the judges I’m beyond words.
"I tend to use this platform to give a true documentation of my lil busy life, sometimes that can be the photo above of a recent fun filming day in Scotland with the nicest production team, recipes I’ve just made, things we have made in the restaurant, political thoughts, and lots of friends and family.
"To even be been considered alongside Uncle Roger and @ks_ate_here is a real privilege and I’m definitely pinching myself to see if it’s real. Thank you, this gal is truly humbled - see you at the awards."
