Glasgow Central Station streets cordoned off by police as man in serious condition

Glasgow Police Central Station Glasgow Royal Infirmary

A man has been rushed to hospital after he was found injured during the early hours of the morning in Glasgow city centre.

Police Scotland has cordoned off areas in the city near to Central Station as they try to establish the full circumstances surrounding the serious assault.

The man was taken by ambulance to Glasgow Royal Infirmary, where he remains with his condition described as 'serious'.
