Glasgow city centre is getting its first ever 'real life beach' - just in time for the school holidays.
Clyde Island presents Summer Beach Festival is taking over the NCP King Street Car Park from July 15 to August 7.
Event organisers promise artisan food and drink, live entertainment, fairground rides and attractions alongside a large beach and beach club complete with cocktail bar.

Thrill-seekers can go wild on the fairground rides inspired by New York's Coney Island; such as the dodgems and giant wheel with panoramic views across the city.
Over 18s can kick back at the beach bar on deck chairs while enjoying a summer tipple.
Clyde Island chiefs are behind Spootacular and Galatic Festival that went down at storm at Silverburn shopping centre.
The ticketed event that operates with a token system claims to be 'purse-friendly' with discounts and offers available.
Street food vendors will also be on site with eateries being announced over the coming weeks on social media.
Callum Broome, creative director of Clyde Island, said; “We have seen costs spiral across the country so we wanted to bring a little happiness with a Summer Beach Festival for those staycationing this year in Glasgow, with a fantastic food, drink and ride selection”.
Clyde Island will open from 10am till 10pm seven days a week.
