A Glasgow bus route has been named one of the most scenic tours to take in the UK, as the Clyde Flyer comes in third on the list.
The research, which was carried out by over 50s experts SunLife , has named the Clyde Flyer 901-906 to Greenock and Largs as one of the best routes to see beautiful views of the west coast. The study involved analysing the Instagram hashtags of over 40 different bus routes throughout the UK, revealing which routes are the most scenic.
The Clyde Flyer 901-906, by bus company McGills, runs directly from Glasgow through to the seaside town of Largs, on the west coast of Scotland.

It has been described as the perfect route to explore the beautiful coastline along the River Clyde, the buses run up to every 15 minutes, every day throughout the entire year.
The route travels through the following stops:

- Bothwell Street
- Paisley Renfrew Road
- Braehead (Stance Eight)
- Coronation Park
- Port Glasgow Bus Station
- Greenock Kilblain Street
- Gourock Station
- McInroy's Point
- Lunderston Bay
- Branchton Station
- Inverkip Main Street
- Wemyss Bay Station
- Largs Main Street
- Largs Douglas Street
