Glasgow bus fares to be capped at £2 per journey from next week, SNP announce

BUS fares in Glasgow and parts of the west of Scotland will be capped at £2 per journey from next week, the Scottish Government has said.

After a successful pilot scheme in the Highlands and Islands, the price cap on tickets will be extended to cover the Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) area from Monday, September 7.
