Construction workers working at a housing development in Glasgow were given the shock of their lives after digging up human remains.
A skull and bones were found alongside wooden coffins at the multi-million pound construction site in Orr Street in the Calton area of the city on Tuesday morning (February 22).
Work at the brownfield site, where 80 new homes are being built, was immediately halted by developer AS Homes and The Home Group following the grim discovery, with the area currently closed off.
