An attempted murder probe has been launched after a man was reportedly attacked in Easterhouse.
Police were called to Westerhouse Road at Drochil Way around 9.50pm on Tuesday night. A 53-year-old man was rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment where his condition is currently unknown.
Locals reported the road, close to Easterhouse shopping centre, was cordoned off overnight and into Wednesday morning.

Detectives are treating the incident as attempted murder and enquiries are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “At 9.50pm on Tuesday, 13 September, 2022 officers received a report of an attempted murder at Westerhouse Road at Drochil Way in Glasgow. A 53-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment and enquiries are ongoing.”
