Police issue update after passengers were evacuated from Glasgow Airport

Glasgow Airport Police Scotland Police

A SECTION of Glasgow International Airport was locked down on Monday morning following reports of a "suspicious package". 

The discovery is believed to have been made around 6am on December 5 and led to an emergency response.

The airport’s central search area was locked down. Passengers were moved outside while checks were carried out.
