Hundreds of passengers travelling between Glasgow and London have had their flights cancelled this morning.
British Airways have been forced to cancel all short-haul flights from London Heathrow due to a technical failure.
An 'IT failure' is causing chaos for the airline today (Saturday, February 26) with the flights unable to run until at least midday.
Passengers have had their flights cancelled last minute forcing the airline to issue an apology.
The 10am and 12.20pm flights from Glasgow to London Heathrow have been cancelled so far, with flights due to land in the city at 9am and 11.30am also cancelled.
Posting on social media, BA said: "We are extremely sorry that due to the continuing technical issues we are facing we have regrettably had to cancel all short-haul flights from Heathrow today until midday,"
The airline has said the problem, which first came to light on Friday, is affecting its website, app, and airport operations and has not been caused by a cyber attack.
Any passengers flying on a short-haul flight with British Airways on Saturday has been urged to check their travel information as soon as possible.
