A man swallowed £28,000 worth of cocaine before flying into Glasgow Airport.
Canadian Emeka Ugwu downed 80 capsules filled with the drug in a bid to get it into the country unnoticed. But when he passed through customs, Border Force officials became suspicious when they spotted discrepancies in Ugwu's travel history.
Once detained the 44-year-old started to pass dozen of packages containing white powder that later turned out to be identified as 1.2kg of cocaine, the Paisley Daily Express reports.
