Passengers using Glasgow Airport have expressed their concern due to an inability to withdraw cash or currency.
This is because at present, there are no ATMs or currency withdrawal machines working in the terminal.
Airport bosses confirmed to Glasgow Live that this is the result of a decision by companies who previously operated the machines to close as a 'direct result of the covid pandemic'.
They also said that they are speaking with other companies and hope to welcome a new supplier 'soon', with suggestion that this could be 'by early May'.

One irate passenger took to Twitter to quiz why they couldn't withdraw cash at the airport, tweeting: "Glasgow Airport why are there no ATMs working or currency in the Airport please?"
Glasgow Airport responded by tweeting: "Hello, we have contracted a new business partner for managing the replenishment of cash machines at the airport. We sincerely hope that their software upgrades and recruitment of new staff is in place early May 2022".
A Glasgow Airport spokesman told Glasgow Live: “Unfortunately, and as a direct result of the Covid-19 pandemic, many of our business partners at the airport were forced to make the difficult decision to close.
"This included the companies that had previously operated the ATM and currency withdrawal machines.
"We are speaking with other companies and hope to soon welcome a new supplier.”
