If you or someone you know is jetting away on holiday soon whether it's to London or Portugal, it's handy to be able to keep an eye on the flight.
And there's a simple way to do this for flights departing and landing at Glasgow Airport.
If you are looking for a departing flight, you can visit the airport's website and visit the Departures page where you will see a list of flights that are soon set to take to the runway.

You can also visit their Arrivals page which will show you the flights that have landed and are soon due to land.
Under both options, you will be given the following information:
- Time due to take off or land
- Airline
- Flight number
- Where the flight is heading to or where the flight has come from - such as to Paris (from Glasgow) or from Cancun (to Glasgow)
- Status updates
The status updates include when the flight landed and what carousel the bags are at for collection if you put them in the hold.
There is also an option to sign up for alerts so you don't have to keep checking back on the website. This can be done on the same Live Flights page where the above information is also seen with two options - alerts through e-mail or Facebook messenger.
You also have the option to search your specific flight number or destination if you are unsure which number it is.
If you are heading to the airport soon, it is important to note that Money Saving Expert's (MSE) Martin Lewis has issued a warning urging people to act fast.
The financial guru said people who have a holiday booked should do one thing as soon as you book, or in his words "ASAB".
In his latest latest edition of the MoneySavingExpert.com newsletter, he said every year his “heart sinks” after someone gets in touch to say they’ve lost all their money because they were unable to travel simply because they did not have insurance cover.
The consumer champion is urging those people to “do it now” as the season of summer approaches with millions of people set to jet away on their holiday.
