Gladiators star Wolf appeared on Good Morning Britain today to talk about the reboot of the popular hit show of the 90s - and he looks completely different.
The 70-year-old and his son Dean joined Kate Garraway and Ben Shepherd on the ITV show as Dean wants to follow in his dad's footsteps and appear in the brand new production which is set to hit screens in the next few months.
Wolf - whose real name is Michael Van Wijk - said despite the last reboot on Sky not quite working, he's sure it will be better this time around and he would love to see his boy be a part of it, writes The Mirror.
Wolf was on the show between 1992 and 2000 and his son Dean was been given the nickname 'Wolf Cub' because he wants to emulate his success.
He is hoping his application to the show is successful and would 'start tomorrow' if he could.
Talking about the reboot, Wolf said: "To be honest I could do all the games comfortably, I would also like to be like you guys and be a co presenter as well. I have never missed a show in the whole eight series.
"We train at different gyms but we are very very competitive."
During the ITV chat, the father and son duo revealed that they are both competitive against each other. When asked who would win between them, they both exclaimed: "Definitely me."
Dean previously told The Sun: "It’s a bit daunting to think about, especially because he was the number one with his character. But I’m up for it. I can’t be exactly the same as him but I will try bringing something else to the show."
He said he has fond memories of going to work with his father when he was young.
He added: "I remember my dad taking me on the show. He made me a little Gladiator outfit. He got me on his shoulders and ran around the arena with me. I remember the crowds screaming," he added of the moment.
