Give us your player ratings as Newcastle United lose 3-0 at Aston Villa

Aston Villa Newcastle United Newcastle Villa Magpies Nick Pope Ollie Watkins Jacob Ramsey

Newcastle United suffered their heaviest defeat of the season as Ollie Watkins scored twice in a 3-0 win for Aston Villa.

Villa climbed to within six points of the top four as a result, and ended Newcastle's run of five straight wins in the Premier League.

The hosts opened the scoring after 11 minutes when Jacob Ramsey finished off an impressive move. John McGinn floated a cross to the back post, which was cushioned down by Watkins, for Ramsey to drill a low effort beyond Nick Pope.
