NEW DELHI: Google informed the Delhi high court Monday that it has removed a web link allegedly containing objectionable material against Union minister Smriti Irani and her daughter, and sought from the senior BJP politician other links that need to be disabled.
Justice Mini Pushkarna sought a reply from Irani on the application filed by Google seeking modification of July 29 order in which the court had directed social media platforms to remove videos, posts, tweets, re-tweets, captions, taglines along with morphed pictures of the plaintiff and her daughter, and all defamatory content.
