Gisele Bündchen was overcome with emotion as she teared up while giving a lecture at the VTEX event in São Paulo, Brazil.
The 42-year-old supermodel was seen crying and dabbing her eyes with a tissue while onstage at the event, just days after her ex-husband Tom Brady opened up about co-parenting.
Gisele, who finalised her divorce from Tom in October last year, spoke with the president and co-founder of VTEX Mariano Gomide as she addressed "her challenges to conquer the world".
She also spoke of "her job in defence of nature and her journey of example in entrepreneurship", according to a press release.
It is unclear exactly what brought Gisele to tears, but it comes just two days after Tom spoke openly about raising their kids.
The former couple started dating in 2006 and tied the knot in February 2009 before divorcing last year. They share two children together — Benjamin, 13 and Vivian, 10.
Gisele and Tom now take turns looking after their kids following their split.
Speaking about the situation, Tom said the children have a "really good summer lined up" and will be splitting their time between each parent.
"We're going to Disneyland tomorrow to celebrate because it's the last day of school.
"Then they're going with their mom for a couple of weeks to Brazil. They've got lots of good plans," he told People.
The former NFL star said he thinks it's important for Benjamin and Vivian to "stay connected with people from Boston and from Tampa and from Costa Rica and from Brazil".
Gisele has also previously opened up about her divorce from Tom and admitted it felt like "the death of my dream".
"It's tough because you imagine your life was going to be a certain way, and you did everything you could, you know? I believed in fairy tales when I was a kid. I think it's beautiful to believe in that," she said.
The model said she put everything into her relationship in the hopes of achieving her dream.
You give everything you got to achieve your dream. You give a hundred percent of yourself, and it’s heartbreaking when it doesn't end up the way you hoped for, and worked for," she told Vanity Fair.
