If Gisele Bündchen wasn't already busy enough, the model and global environmentalist recently embarked on a home renovation project – all held together by a seamless management system.
To control her Miami renovation and keep her life and home organized, Gisele uses a color-coordinated calendar to easily track her children's activities and prioritize her time doing the things' important' to her.
'Managing time is the most important thing because time is the most valuable thing we have – the most valuable currency we have,' Gisele shared with People. 'I have a color-coordinated calendar... Each of my children has a color; work has a color, [and] my personal activities have a color. Because this way I can see – if I have all the colors every day, it means I'm spending the time doing all the things that are important to me.'
As mentioned, alongside her career and family life, Gisele uses her calendar to keep track of her Miami home renovation – the property being only one of the impressive houses that make up her property portfolio.
In September, she purchased a home in Southwest Ranches, a suburban community part of the Miami metropolitan area, likely the property undergoing renovation.
'I'm doing construction! It's incredible – doing construction in Miami takes a lot of patience,' Gisele shared in an intimate IWC Schaffhausen event for Art Basel Miami last Friday. 'I'm exercising all those years of meditation – it's very useful, I'm not going to lie.'
However, her organized and meditative approach appears to be successful. 'I have to tell you, having a moment to free yourself, to breathe, to really just nourish yourself first, I think it goes a long way,' Gisele adds. 'For me, when I don't do it, I feel a huge difference.'
The model also owns an $11.5 million home in Surfside, Florida, a modest $1.3 million Florida cottage, and a Miami Beach property (the latter with her former husband, Tom Brady).
Gisele never expanded on which color-coordinated calendar she uses specifically, but we've found some options that would look great in every home (even if we don't all have a Miami renovation to contend with). Alternatively, if we already have a calendar we like, colored stickers will achieve a similar effect.
