A dad who launched his own clothing range during lockdown is now bidding to crack America.
Michael Sandilands has masterminded the start-up firm from his kitchen table in Girvan.
With the help of young daughters Harper, three, and Mylah, two, the 'Offxspringz' brand has taken off across Scotland during the last 12 months.
The signature bears design – created by Michael and his kids as a fun task during the lockdown – is carried on everything from hoodies to T-shirts and hats.
Now the eyecatching gear has travelled across the pond.
Michael, a whisky distiller to trade, revealed: "My mate Graham was wearing one of our hoodies out in the States when he was spotted at a soccer camp.
"The company running it, Challenger Sports, loved our brand and got in touch with a view to selling it through their website.
"It's a fantastic opportunity and we'll see where it goes...it's just mindblowing to think how far this has all come in the space of a year.
"This all started as a way to keep the kids entertained when they were shut in the house with nowhere to go.
"So I got them a blackboard to draw on and they came up with the rough design, which went from there."
Around 4,000 orders later and Michael has had to take on his own employee to keep up with demand.
The 28-year-old said: "I've had to build a log cabin out the back to expand from the kitchen table as things were getting so hectic.
"It's been an amazing experience so far and you get a real buzz when you're out and about seeing someone wearing your stuff.
"Hopefully this new venture in America will give us even more exposure and it will take things to the next level.
"It's a really exciting time."
