Girls Aloud launch Primark charity pyjamas in honour of Sarah Harding

Girls Aloud have teamed up with Primark to launch a range of fundraising pyjamas, in honour of late star Sarah Harding.

It was in September last year that Sarah's devastated mum broke the sad news that the singer had passed away at the age of just 39, having been diagnosed with terminal cancer just a year earlier. Sarah candidly opened up on her cancer battle in autobiography Hear Me Out,. which was released before her death and took its name from the Girls Aloud album track of the same name, which she co-wrote.

As tributes to the former Celebrity Big Brother winner flooded in from across the world, each member of Girls Aloud paid their own individual tribute to Sarah online, sharing their sadness at her death, but also remembering the good times they had with her in the 20 years since the five piece group shot to fame on Popstars The Rivals.

Earlier this year, Cheryl, NIcola and Nadine ran a special Race for Life in London in memory of Sarah, joined by many others who helped to raise a huge amount of money for Cancer Research. And now the band have collaborated with Primark to come up with a range of pyjamas and lounge wear to raise even more money for charity.

The navy garments will go on sale at Primark stores across the country from Wednesday, October 5 and revealing all on Instagram, Cheryl posted shots of the girls in the clothes and wrote: "Before Sarah passed away, we promised her we would fulfil her wish of raising money for vital research to help determine young women between the ages of 29 and 40 who could be at risk of breast cancer with no genetic history. These pyjamas with @primark will raise a significant amount of money to help us achieve our promise to her."

Proceeds from sales of Girls Aloud's Primark range will be split between The Christie Charitable Trust and Cancer Research UK.
