Two girls were rushed to hospital after being struck by a car on a south side Glasgow road.
The youngsters, aged 14 and 12, were struck by the vehicle at around 7pm yesterday (Thursday) on Thornliebank Road outside the BP Seven Sisters petrol station.Emergency services rushed to the scene and both children were taken to hospital.
The extent of any injuries is not currently known at this time.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were called to reports of two people being struck by a vehicle on Thornliebank Road, Glasgow at around 7pm on Thursday, August 4, 2022. Two girls, aged 14 and 12, were taken to hospital.”
On Wednesday the Scottish Ambulance Service (SAS) confirmed their attendance at the scene. They revealed that both girls were rushed to the Royal Hospital for Children in one ambulance.
An SAS spokesperson said: “We received a call at 6.56pm on August 4 to attend an incident on Thornliebank Road, Glasgow. One ambulance attended the scene and two patients were transported to the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow.”
