A two-year-old girl who was reported missing from home has been found dead in a garden.
The girl from Dagenham in East London was reported missing at 4pm on Saturday, January 29.
Police launched an urgent search.
A Met Police spokesperson said today: “The girl was found unresponsive in the garden.
"Despite the efforts of paramedics, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The death is being treated as unexplained.”
No arrests have been made, and a post-mortem examination will take place this week.
Police say her next of kin are aware
The Met’s East Area command unit are leading an investigation.
