A teenage girl was reportedly followed and recorded by a man as she was walking to the shops.
The girl, 14, had been shopping at the Home Bargains on Walton Vale on Wednesday. After crossing the road she spotted a man who appeared to be filming her on his phone.
The stranger then approached her outside a Max Spielmann on the Vale. The alleged suspect then asked her to come toward him while following the girl to the Tesco Express on Longmoore Lane.
The man then walked off while the girl waited at the Tesco for her mum to arrive. The incident took place at 2:45pm and the suspect is described as being in his late 30s, around 6ft tall, wearing a dark jacket and dark jeans.

Speaking to the ECHO her mum said: "For it to happen in such a public area where everyone knows each other and the fact that there were a lot of people out with all the shops open, for it has shaken us up.
"The one thing that has calmed me down is that my daughter has been brought up to know what to do if she was ever put in a situation like that and she acted as swiftly as she could."
A spokesperson for Merseyside police said: "We can confirm we received a report yesterday on Wednesday 11th May of suspicious behaviour in Walton.
"It was reported that around 2.45 pm a 14-year-old female believed she was being followed by a man while she walked along Walton Vale and he appeared to be filming her on his mobile phone. She then crossed the road and went into a supermarket.
"She informed security staff who looked to find the man but he had gone. At no point was any verbal threats or physical harm made towards the female. Enquiries are ongoing."
