A five-year-old girl risks suffering third degree burns from stomach acid leaking out of her neck when she sleeps.

Surgeons created a hole in the side of Lola Hardy-Williams' neck to stop her from drowning in the acid.

However, the liquid started leaking out of her neck, burning her skin and covering her clothes, NorthWalesLive reports.
