Girl, 4, has 40 stitches after American Bulldog mauls her face

A four-year-old girl needed 40 stitches to her face after being mauled by an American bulldog. Little Luna-Ann Forsyth was dragged away from the animal's grips by her mum Amy Hobson, 32, following the bloody attack.

She then had to be taken to A&E by taxi after 999 call handlers said it would take several hours for an ambulance to arrive, the Mirror reports. Luna-Ann required plastic surgery and 40 stitches on her face following the incident last Thursday (April 6) afternoon.
