Girl, 4, dies after vital feeding pump breaks at her home in middle of the night

A four-year-old girl died after a problem with her feeding pump in the middle of the night, an inquest heard.

Amelia Louise Edwards had a rare genetic condition which meant her blood sugar needed to be maintained at a certain level overnight.

Despite the best efforts of her parents and paramedics to save her, the toddler died in April 2021.
