A 15-year-old girl has been injured after a car hit her and drove off whilst she was out with a friend in a Nottinghamshire village. Nottinghamshire Police says officers received reports of the incident, which happened on the A52 near Henson Lane in Upper Saxondale.
The force says that it happened between 3.30pm and 4pm on Saturday, September 3, with the girl described as being "struck" by a car. The driver of the vehicle stopped briefly but then drove off.
He is believed to be a white man in his 30s who had a baby in the car with him. The girl was with a friend when the incident took place and has suffered grazes and bruises as a result of it.

Nottinghamshire Police is now appealing for anyone with information about the incident to come forward. Those who have information to share can call 101, quoting incident number 456 of September 3.
