A schoolgirl had a hairball the size of a rugby ball stuck in her stomach after years of eating her own hair.

Melissa Williams, 13, from Walton, had a huge hairball measuring between 8-10cm in diameter removed from her stomach on October 1, 2021.

Mum Jackie Williams, 40, and dad, Gary Jones, 47, didn't know anything was wrong until Melissa started complaining of severe stomach pains.
