A 13-year-old British girl and 32 other people from the UK are feared missing, and more than 160 people were killed when a huge wall of mud and rock collapsed into a river on the border of Nepal and Tibet, sending flash floods through villages.
Rescuers in Nepal have recovered 157 bodies, while hundreds of people, including two Irish nationals, are also still unaccounted for. At least three people in China were killed.
