Girl, 11, told she had constipation diagnosed with watermelon-sized tumour

An 11-year-old girl who was assured by doctors her swollen stomach was nothing more than constipation is undergoing chemotherapy after a tumour the size of a watermelon was found.

Ellie Miller was diagnosed with nephroblastoma - a type of kidney cancer found in children - after her stomach started to balloon in size.

Three years on from her diagnosis, Ellie has been in and out of hospital and has been through several operations after the cancer, unfortunately, spread to other organs, including her lungs.
