An 11-year-old little girl is seriously injured after she was hit by a car in Leeds on Monday evening.
Emergency services rushed to Town Street in Armley just after 5pm on Monday, March 6, following reports a pedestrian had been hit by a car. Upon arrival, officers from West Yorkshire Police, discovered a school girl had been seriously injured.
She was rushed to hospital in an ambulance. Her injuries were not considered life-threatening.

The driver, of a black BMW, stopped at the scene and spoke to police. Officers taped off the area in both directions of Town Street and the road remained closed for over three hours.
Two police vans were seen guarding the scene. One eyewitness told Leeds Live : "Armley Town street is cordoned off again from Theaker lane to Branch Road."
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "A 5.12pm yesterday, police were called to a road traffic collision in Town Street, Armley, involving a car and an 11-year-old female pedestrian. The girl was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that were not considered life threatening.
"A scene was put in place awaiting updates from hospital on her condition. The road re-opened at 8.20pm. The driver stopped at the scene and was spoken to by officers."
