GIOVANNI VAN BRONCKHORST hopes Rangers will complete more transfer business in the coming days as the Ibrox boss closes in on a deal for forward Rabbi Matondo.
Rangers saw their friendly fixture with Sunderland called to a halt after just 45 minutes in Portugal after a power cut left the Albufeira Municipal Stadium in darkness.
Van Bronckhorst handed a debut to striker Antonio Colak as he made his first start just days after completing a move from PAOK.
And the Croatian is set to be joined at Ibrox by Schalke star Matondo as he edges nearer a move to Glasgow to become the fourth new signing this summer.
Rangers have also been linked with a move for midfielder Angelo Fulgini but Van Bronckhorst was tight lipped on the names of his next targets.
Van Bronckhorst said: “Ross is busy. Of course we want to add more players to our squad and he is busy talking with players, talking with agents and clubs.
“Now we have so many people involved in those talks. I am hopeful that we can add more players in the coming week.
“We are busy. We have several players that we are watching and talking with. When it is 100 per cent we will communicate.”
