GIOVANNI VAN BRONCKHORST has provided an injury update on his Rangers squad ahead of their European tie with Napoli tomorrow night.
The Light Blues take on the Serie A giants at Ibrox on matchday two of the Champions League group stages on Wednesday, September 14.
And the Premiership side will be without No.1 goalkeeper Jon McLaughlin - paving the way for an Allan McGregor return.
van Bronckhorst has revealed that McLaughlin has picked up a knock and therefore won't be involved in the game.
Other than the Scotland stopper being freshly ruled out, it's as you were in terms of the squad available for selection.
The Dutchman told the media: "McLaughlin has picked up an injury and will not be involved.
"It is different for Allan (McGregor) this season, he has still been the same in training.
"I have every faith in him tomorrow with the experience he has. No doubt in my mind that he will perform tomorrow.
"Tavernier is doing better than the last few weeks, the weekend allowed him more time to recover. Physically, he should be in a much better place than in the match against Ajax."
"We have faced heavy defeats and we have talked about it and learned from it, now is the chance tomorrow to get a good result at our home.
"At Rangers, we know two defeats in a row are unacceptable. We go out tomorrow to win with our philosophy."
