Gio van Bronckhorst takes Rangers break with Max Verstappen as he enjoys time off at Monaco Grand Prix

Rangers boss Gio van Bronckhorst is taking some well earned time off, stopping off at the Monaco Grand Prix on his travels.

And it seems the Ibrox boss can't go anywhere without bumping into a fan.

This time, it was another well known sporting face he was pictured with.

Formula One driver, Max Verstappen, was snapped with the Dutch manager with the picture shared on social media much to the delight of fans.

The 2021 World Champion finished third in yesterday's race in Monaco and despite his success, made time to greet the Gers manager during the meet in Monaco.

The Ibrox boss has his work cut out for him this summer, with some huge boots to fill in Govan.

Connor Goldson, Alan McGregor, Leo Balogun and Steven Davis are among those out of contract, with Aaron Ramsey and Amad Diallo departing as they return to their parent clubs.

Calvin Bassey could also be on his way out as the defender have been strongly linked with a move to Aston Villa which would see him rejoin his former boss Steven Gerrard.

One fan seemed to have this summer's transfer window in mind when responding to the snap.

They replied: "Hopefully brings back a decent Monaco player with him".

Another was pretty starstruck, tweeting: "My manager and my goat (Greatest Of All Time)".
