Under pressure Rangers boss Gio van Bronckhorst has taken the blame for the dismal draw with Livingston.
It was a nervy afternoon at Ibrox after Joel Nouble gave the visitors an early lead with David Martindale's men putting in an impressive defensive display as they kept Rangers at bay for the majority of the Scottish Premiership showdown. It took Livingston going down to 10 men to allow The Light Blues to unlock the Lion's defence after Morgan Boyes high challenge on Alfredo Morelos saw him receive a red card following a VAR review.
John Lundstram rescued a draw for the home side following the lacklustre showing, but that didn't spare Van Bronckhorst and his Rangers players from a furious fan reaction with the side booed off the park. It's the second time this week that the Ibrox supporters have booed their side as they unleashed after the tepid 1-0 win over Dundee in the Premier Sports Cup.
It means Celtic hold a four-point lead at the top of the table, but Van Bronckhorst insists the title races is far from over. Speaking to BBC Sportsound he was quizzed "the fans aren't happy, how is the manager feeling?" responding: "The same. I'm not happy with the performance, dropping points at home. I feel bad."
Asked about mounting pressure on his job as boss, he said: "I always feel the pressure. I mean, obviously, because I am responsible for the results.
"The draw is my responsibility. The line-up, the structure, the subs. It all comes down to one man and that's the manager. That is the pressure I feel, and I am used to as manager. You want it the other way, you don't want to have pressure but you know when you don't have the results you have the pressure."
When asked if Rangers could still win the title, he went on: "There are still many games to be played. My focus is to get the team back in their rhythm and their way of playing, that is my main focus now."
