Gino D'Acampo has quit the popular ITV cooking show Gordon, Gino And Fred: Road Trip. The Italian chef said he needed to step back from the show because of other contractual commitments.
In a message to fans, Gino explained that the three stars of the show were struggling to get dates aligned to film the show. He decided to step back rather than damage his friendship with Gordon Ramsey and Fred Sirieix.
In a video posted on Twitter, D’Acampo said: “Last week I decided not to film any more Gordon, Gino, Fred’s Road Trips. The reason is simple – nothing to do with Gordon and Fred, the friendship is very strong, we’ve known each other for many, many years – it’s just because we can’t get the dates together.
