Italian giants AS Roma are said to be in the driving seat to sign the wantaway PSG midfielder Gini Wijnaldum, according to reports.
The former Liverpool man has been linked with a whole string of Premier League clubs after he was left out of the Parasians' pre-season squad for their tour of Japan earlier this month, with Everton, Leicester and West Ham linked with his signature.
However, it seems that Jose Mourinho is closing in on the versatile Dutch midfielder - with an £8m loan-to-buy agreement reportedly close to being agreed upon, according to Italian outlet Il Messaggero (via HITC).
