Gigi Hadid has apologised for causing a 'commotion' with a comment on Rihanna's latest Instagram post.
The American Vogue model sparked a frenzy on the pregnant's star's first bump snap after suggesting that the 33-year-old singer may be expecting twins.
It all kicked off after Gigi made a cryptic reference to 'three angels' in her congratulatory message.
After learning of the speculation she had caused, the mom-of-one publicly cleared up the mistake, saying she was referring to Rihanna, expecting dad A$AP Rocky, and their future child.
'I just caught word of this commotion. I meant rih / rocky / baby lol,' she explained under her previous comment.
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, also 33, made their news public in an photoshoot showing off the Rude Boy singer's bump.
An insider later told People that Rihanna 'couldn't be happier and is so excited to be a mom.'
They said: ''Having a baby is something she was never focused on, but being with Rocky opened her up to the idea.
"She's loving all the changes to her body during pregnancy and has always celebrated pregnant women in her runway shows for Fenty."
The source continued: "Everything Rihanna does, she does it her own way on her own timetable, and having a baby is no different."
According to the insider, Rocky is 'over-the-top romantic and sends her rooms full of flowers all the time' - and the star has reportedly never felt this way about anybody before.
Despite their infamously tumultuous relationship, Rihanna's father Ronald welcomed the news that his daughter is pregnant in an interview with Page Six.
"I’m so happy that I jumped for joy. I’m still so excited," he said.
"Rihanna always said that she wanted children, she loves kids. She always takes care of her cousins’ kids…she’s going to be a good mom," he said, adding that A$AP Rocky is 'a very cool guy.'
The singer feuded with her father as recently as 2019 and has even accused him of violence in the past, but that has not stopped him from being 'ecstatic' that she is expecting.
The Umbrella songstress reportedly introduced her current boyfriend to her father and other family members during a trip to Barbados at the end of 2020.
The star fuelled pregnancy rumours in late November, when she briefly placed her hands on her belly during a ceremony where she was named a 'national hero' by newly established republic Barbados.
A$AP Rocky called Rihanna 'the one' during an interview with GQ and said: "She amounts to probably, like, a million of the other ones," even calling the singer 'the love of my life'.
