Giddey opens up on Chicago Bulls contract call

Bulls Josh Giddey Dyson Daniels Chicago NBA

Australian NBA star Josh Giddey insists he never believed he would end up somewhere other than Chicago amid a drawn-out contract stand-off.

The Bulls re-signed point guard Giddey to a four-year deal worth $US100 million ($A152 million) earlier this month.

Before that, the restricted free agent and his club had been in a contract stalemate and he admitted the signing had taken a weight off his shoulders.
