The New York Giants may have been one of the worst-performing teams in the NFL over the past decade but don’t tell their fans that.
The Giants are still one of the league’s top attractions. They were third in overall attendance in 2023 behind only the New York Jets and the Dallas Cowboys.
Nobody in the NFL showed up for their team this season like Cowboys fans! 👏 pic.twitter.com/UutCpWoo9T

While many may see this as simply a signature of fan loyalty, it goes a bit deeper than that as the numbers show.
The Giants and Jets play at MetLife Stadium, which holds 82,500 fans for football — the most in the NFL.
MetLife is followed in capacity by Lambeau Field in Green Bay and AT&T Stadium in North Texas. As you can see, those are the top four teams in the above graphic.
There is also the element of tickets only made available through season subscriptions rather than game-by-game. Fans of these teams have to buy all of the games up front every year making it much easier for teams to reach their capacity during the season.
Now, how many fans actually attended the games is another story. We’ve seen games recently at MetLife where the amount of empty seats was quite noticeable.
