Black Monday has passed and teams are lining up interviews for replacement coaches.
The New York Giants have several slots to fill, including that of former offensive line coach Bobby Johnson, who was let go on Monday.
The Giants are set to interview Las Vegas Raiders offensive line coach Carmen Bricillo to replace Johnson.
The #Giants will interview #Raiders OL coach Carmen Bricillo for the same role on Brian Daboll’s coaching staff, sources say. Vegas granted permission for Bricillo to interview while they conduct their GM and HC searches.

Johnson came with Brian Daboll from the Buffalo Bills, but how he performed with the Giants simply did not work. They ended the season with the worst offensive line in the league, resulting in multiple injuries to quarterbacks.
Bricillo’s first experience coaching in the NFL was with the New England Patriots, where he spent three years under Bill Belichick. Given Daboll’s history with the Patriots, it’s no surprise he wants to chat with Bricillo. The Raiders didn’t make the playoffs either, but their offensive line wasn’t the problem.
This is one of many interviews the Giants will have this offseason. With so many slots to fill, it’s going to be busy until decisions are made. And then it will be time to fix the problems that plagued the team this season.
