The New York Giants (5-11) are currently 5.5-point underdogs for their 2023 season finale against the Philadelphia Eagles (11-5) this Sunday afternoon at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
The spread did drop to +4.5 for several days but rose again to +5.5 over Friday night into Saturday morning.
The over/under, which opened at 45.5 total points, is now down to 42 points due to a winter storm that is scheduled to hit the Northeast this weekend.
The money line at press time is Eagles -250, Giants +200, per BetMGM.
The Eagles, who began the season with a 10-1 record, have lost four of their last five including an embarrassing 35-31 home loss this past Sunday at the hands of the Arizona Cardinals.
They have clinched at least the No. 5 seed in the NFC Playoffs and could get as high as the No. 2 seed with a win over the Giants combined with losses by Dallas and Detroit.
Philadelphia is 7-7-2 against the spread this season. They were 10-10 ATS last year, which ended in a trip to the Super Bowl.
The Giants dropped their third straight game on Sunday, 26-25, to the Los Angeles Rams at MetLife Stadium. They have been eliminated from postseason contention for several weeks now.
New York is 7-8-1 ATS this year as opposed to their league-leading 14-5 mark last season.
