Giants open as 7.5-point home underdogs vs. Colts in Week 17

The New York Giants (2-13) have opened as 7.5-point underdogs for their Week 17 meeting with the Indianapolis Colts (7-8) at MetLife Stadium this Sunday afternoon.

The over/under opened at 40 total points and the moneyline is Colts -400, Giants +310, per BetMGM.

The Giants are coming off a 34-7 drubbing at the hands of the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday at Mercedes Benz Stadium. It was their 10th consecutive loss this season, a franchise record.

The Colts kept their postseason hopes alive, staving off the Tennessee Titans at home, 38-30.

The Giants are 4-11 against the spread this year. The Colts are 9-6.

10 of the 15 games the Giants have played this season have gone under while the over in Colts games is 7-7-1 this season.

Besides the storied history between these two clubs, they have only met in the regular season 17 times since the Colts joined the NFL in 1953. The Colts, who originated in Baltimore and moved to Indianapolis in 1984, hold the series edge, 10-7 in addition to winning the two postseason meetings.

The clubs last met on January 1, 2023, at MetLife Stadium — a 38-10 Giants victory.
